Not a lot to report
The sheep have been sheared (shorn?) and I've found out that washing fleece knackers me. Still, I've washed half of Sunshine's fleece - she is the weirdest looking sheep I've ever seen but her fleece is lush. I'll post pics of how it's spinning up in a couple of days.

I love shearing time - my sheep (a somewhat motley collection) are starting to look a little warm these last couple of days. Do you wash the fleece as soon as it is shorn? How do you store it until you want to spin it?
I typed a long reply and bleddy blogger crashed or something *shakes fist at blogger*
I washed some of sunshines fleece and some of doris's the day after they were shorn and it was really interesting what a difference there was. I've been using wool that's at least a year old up till now. We put them in old paper feed sacks and store them in the rafters of the big shed but a lot of them seem to be making their way into my workshop lol
Aw bless!
Awww, what a lovely photo!
